Alix Lavertu, MBA

Alix Lavertu studied sports science (Sciences et Techniques des Activités Physiques et Sportives) at the Université Haute-Bretagne II in France prior to graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in French and Linguistics from the University of Victoria (2009) and Master of Business Administration with a specialization in International Business from the University of Alberta (2014).

Alix grew up on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia and has relocated to Vancouver to serve as Interim Executive Director. She spends her free time paddling outrigger canoes, playing tennis and learning how to golf.

Alix has served as a senior leader for an evidenced-based Private Residential Mental Health and Addiction program at the Sunshine Coast Health Centre and Georgia Strait Women’s Clinic. She has a commendable understanding of healthcare dynamics and brings a wealth of expertise in financial management, budgeting, and operations in a multi-disciplinary care environment.

She brings experience working with boards and patient advisory committees and is passionate about collaboration, innovation, and building healthy communities.
