Jeane’s first encounter with chiropractic took place in the 80s. She was driving her pick-up truck and got T-boned. Since then, she has been continuously seeing a chiropractor for various reasons.
Jeane is 71 now and has had both knees and hips replaced. On top of that, she has osteoarthritis throughout her body and suffers from sciatica from time to time. “I find that chiropractic care, in combination with massage therapy, helps me with my pain. I am against using opioids for daily pain management and for some time, I have been completely off any pain medication,” she says. Jeane believes that if it weren’t for her chiropractor, her pain level would have been tenfold.
Over time, Jeane went to three chiropractors and developed excellent relationships. Her current chiropractor helps Jeane with sciatica and joint pain, among other things.
“She is very concerned about my wellbeing and makes me feel like I’m part of the family. I see her every three weeks or so, and the treatment and exercises are very gentle and focused on my problem areas.”
Being active is very important to Jeane. “I love hiking and gardening and get up at 5:00 AM daily to take my dog out. I don’t care for gyms or clubs, I’d much rather spend time outdoors, and chiropractic care helps me keep moving.”
