A Few Words About Janet

Dr. Janet Belliveau graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Chemistry from McGill University in Montreal. She then went on to graduate with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree (Summa Cum Laude) from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. Dr. Belliveau grew up in Montreal, Quebec and moved to Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia in 2018. She spends her free time running, working out with the CrossFit community, and is slowly exploring all the beautiful places that the Coast has to offer.

During her clinical internship, Dr. Belliveau was the President of CMCC Students’ Council and sat on many institutional committees. Throughout her four years at CMCC, she won 17 awards to recognize her leadership, volunteer work, service to the profession, and academic success. She was also recognized for her compassion, selfless manner, and spirit of always wanting to help others. Her work with the Students’ Council provided her with valuable experience advocating for the best interests of her fellow colleagues in a diplomatic and collaborative manner.

Her passion to help others is what drove her to this profession. She believes that all treatment plans should be evidence-based and individually catered to each patient. She is a promoter of multi-disciplinary care and often refers to her patients for complementary services.
