A Few Words About Sheila
Dr. Boehm has been operating her clinic in Williams Lake for over 17 years as a sole proprietor, after graduating from CMCC in 2001. Prior to becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Boehm was working as a registered nurse for eight years, graduating in 1993 and obtaining her BSN degree from the University of Victoria.
Dr. Boehm was elected in October 2018 to be a City Councillor for the City of Williams Lake. Prior to this, she served two terms, seven years, as an elected School Trustee for School District 27. In addition to volunteering with various activities with her three kids she has been a volunteer ski patroller at Mt. Timothy for 6 years and volunteered and various mountain biking and events in and around Williams Lake.
Being on the BCCA board she is hoping to help in the future direction of our profession. She is looking forward to engaging everyone in a process that allows us all to work together and with other health professionals to make sure that chiropractors continue to be one of the first groups the public looks for when thinking about knowledgeable and professional health care.
