
A Few Words About Mike
Dr. Mike Hadbavny graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College after completing a bachelor’s degree in physical education from Brock University. During his time at Brock, Dr. Hadbavny worked within the Spinal Cord Injury Research Laboratory aiding in the assessment and rehabilitation of patients with spinal injuries. It was there his interest in healthcare was sparked.
He is currently enrolled in the Sports Sciences Residency Program to further his education and experience within athletics and health care. Dr. Hadbavny has been involved in many local, provincial, national, and international events across British Columbia, and is currently part of the medical team for Pacific FC. He works at a multi-disciplinary health clinic and provides care to local athletes and residents.
Mike believes that chiropractors are health care professionals who can play a vital role in shaping BC’s health care system of the future. This can be achieved by establishing a unified message of evidence-based patient-centred care. He believes through interdisciplinary and government collaboration efforts we can advance our scope of practice to be better utilized within our health care system.
