BCCA Publicity firm Margo Bates Publicity Inc. recently pitched a story that caught not only the media’s attention, but the attention of ICBC as well. The news release featured below was issued to the media on November 14th, immediately following the BCCC/BCCA AGM in Victoria. Press coverage was wide spread, including Canada Newswire and inclusion in major publications such as The Vancouver Sun and The Province (featured below). The release prompted reporters to solicit comment from ICBC spokesman Dean Pelkey, who said that ICBC doesn’t limit the number of visits a claimant makes to a chiropractor. ICBC officials denied any adherence to a policy of refusing a medical claim if a vehicle is not damaged.
