New video and poster just what the doctor ordered
Produced by KVOS TV12, the video “Your Spine, Your Health” was circulated to association members across BC on November 8th. The response to this video has been overwhelmingly positive, and we thank members for their feedback. Designed to play a key role in the ongoing process of public education, the video enables people to gain a better understanding of chiropractic and formulate appropriate questions. It also serves as an effective tool for in-office or community presentations. Over the next 12 months, the Association will be contacting members to assist in promoting the video to their local cable stations (Shaw or Rogers). This will give many of our members an opportunity to build an increased awareness of the benefits of chiropractic in their community. These videos are free to the public, who can obtain a copy by calling 877-390-1100. BCCA members interested in receiving additional copies are asked to contact the BCCA office.

Also sent to Association members were copies of a poster designed to prompt patients to call their chiropractor first when sustaining an injury that involves WCB, ICBC or Medicare. There is still a great need to increase first contact awareness amongst your patients. We hope that you will use the video and poster whenever possible. Patient responses and comments to these materials will enable us to enhance future promotional materials according to their needs.
