In Memory Dr. Bernard Evans passed away peacefully on August 24, 1999 at Delta Hospital. Born in Nipawin, Saskatchewan on January 11, 1919, Evans graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1949. He established his practice in Burnaby, BC in 1950, and served on the Board of Examiners for the B.C. Chiropractic Association until September 1967. Evans retired from his practice in 1986. Dorothy Alderson, wife of Dr. Blake Alderson passed away October 28, 1999 after a 27-year courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Her constant bright and positive attitude will be sorely missed. Donations can be made in her name to the CMCC. Dr. Bob Long passed away November 9, 1999. He played a key role in the development of Vancouver’s Van Dusen Gardens and was an avid supporter of the CMCC during his time in practice, and after his retirement. Donations can be made in Dr. Long’s name to the CMCC.
