Dr. Shannon Patterson Volunteers for Association Committee
BCCA President Dr. Brian Arthur recently announced that Dr. Shannon Patterson has volunteered to chair an Association committee to develop and organize BCCA display materials used in public presentations. Dr. Patterson will review the materials currently being used by 650 members and recommend changes to the Association Board.
BCCA members will be notified when volunteers are needed to make presentations to employers, schools, and other public organizations. Availability of the LCD projector will also be monitored for those DCs making PowerPoint presentations.
In addition, we are considering editing existing video footage used in the Your Spine Your Health video to create two or more three- to 10-minute videos, creating various themes for specific audiences. The budget for new presentation materials will be considered in the August 01, 2001 fiscal year. Any Association member interested in volunteering for public presentations should contact the Association office as soon as possible at 604-270-1332.
